PRESENTACIÓN
Con la llegada de un nuevo año, nuestro Boletín ISTR para la región de América Latina y el Caribe (istrlac.org) también presentará algunas novedades: agradecemos a nuestro amigo Pablo Marsal Baraldi (y a su equipo) su contribución y dedicación como editor del Boletín durante 4 años, y a partir de enero asumiré con gusto este cargo. Soy investigador postdoctoral en la IEA USP, representante de la Revista Alliance en Brasil y miembro del ISTR desde 2019. Desde entonces, he tenido la oportunidad de asistir a todas las conferencias regionales y globales: este es un grupo muy especial para mí, del que aprendo muchísimo. Espero poder corresponder como editor.

Com a chegada de um novo ano, nosso Boletim (Newsletter) da ISTR para a região da América Latina e Caribe (istrlac.org) também contará com novidades: agradecemos a contribuição e empenho do nosso amigo Pablo Marsal Baraldi (e seu time) como editor do Boletim por 4 anos, e a partir de janeiro assumo com alegria esta posição. Sou pesquisadora pós doc no IEA USP, representante da Alliance Magazine no Brasil e membro da ISTR desde 2019. Tive a oportunidade de estar em todas Conferências regionais e globais desde então: este é um grupo muito especial para mim, em que aprendo muito. Espero poder retribuir como editora.

INTRODUCTION
With the arrival of a new year, our ISTR Newsletter for the Latin America and Caribbean region (istrlac.org) will also feature some new developments: we thank our friend Pablo Marsal Baraldi (and his team) for their contribution and dedication as editor of the Newsletter for 4 years, and from January I will gladly assume this position. I am a postdoctoral researcher at IEA USP, representative of Alliance Magazine in Brazil, and a member of ISTR since 2019. I have had the opportunity to attend all regional and global conferences since then: this is a very special group for me, from which I learn a great deal. I hope to be able to reciprocate as editor.

I take this opportunity to extend an invitation to ISTR members to participate in the Newsletter's Editorial Committee, to make it increasingly active, relevant, and representative of our region. Interested parties simply need to send an email with their mini bio to istr.lac.sec@gmail.com.
